I recommend Czerny to go with Hanon.

Currently I am studying both on instruction from my teacher.  First Hanon, Czerny and then a piece of music we are working on.  I split up my time :
Hanon 20%
Czerny 60%
Piece 20%

But those numbers are probably based on the fact my technique is not so great.  As my technique improves it will be less Excercises and more of the pieces I expect.

To give you an idea of the level I am at, the pieces are the 2-part (Bach) inventions that I am doing right now. #8 and #13.

I find that Czerny is excellent for learning chords which I imagine would be great for practicing 'fake books' and music from the radio if you are into that.  Also co-ordination of hands, memorizing chords and notes.  Plus it's a good follow up to Hanon as it's usually lively music and a lot more fun and interesting than Hanon!
