What is a good electronic piano for a beginner?
on: June 13, 2010, 01:48:13 PM
I'm interested in buying a fully weighted electronic piano. I'm just starting out and am interested in doing contemporary piano pieces as well as the option to hook up to an apple computer to work with certain music applications. A lot of people recommend yamaha pianos, though I'm not sure what to look for. I'm looking for a full range of price points from "starter" pianos as well as ones that would last me longer.

I personally prefer Yamaha electric pianos.
If you're looking for something in lower price range, try Yamaha Arius series. YDP140 or YDP160 are relatively good pianos with a really good price!
Or if you want something better, and more expensive, try Clavinova series. My friend has CLP330, and it's a pretty nice piano.
Of course, you can connect all of them with a computer.
"But to new horror I awake each morn,
And I could weep hot tears, to see the sun
Dawn on another day, whose round forlorn
Accomplishes no wish of mine--not one."
Goethe: "Faust I"
