Just wanted some new composers to listen to possible learn, Something interesting, piano mainly. Something along the lines of Alkan, chopin, Rachmaninoff, just the powerful romantic stuff.

Rachmanioff is always good but try Prokofiev seventh sonata It is one of his 3 " war" sonatas and is powerful

Scriabin 3rd sonata might fit the bill. Kissin & Gould are the versions I've heard.

Go listen to some Medtner.   8)
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Bortkiewicz and Rozycki are the first two composers that come to mind when the words powerful romantic are used.

Perhaps some Scharwenka as well.

Rubenstein strikes me as a good candidate, as in the composer Rubenstein, not the pianist.
