I've got the Thalberg fantasy based on this opera - does anyone know of any others?

Thanks,

Richard

I'm very fond of the Thalberg one, especially in the hands of Earl Wild. According to the pianophilia Opus Transcribisticum, there are fantasies by Henri Cramer, Franz Chotek, Jean Duvernoy, and Rudolf Nordmann (who?  ;D ) Good luck locating these.. I've not checked IMSLP, but I'd be surprised if you found them there. I expected to see one listed by Sydney Smith, but seems there isn't. I've also written one which is partly based on it, but I'm not convinced that's what you're looking for ;)

And lastly by Smith.

There are a few more by Czerny, Nordmann, Herz, Bertini & Wolff, but they are Caprotti's scans.

If you would like them, I suggest you PM him on Pianophilia.

Thanks, chaps! I'm sure one or other of those will serve - it's to play at a post-show party, thought it might amuse the cast.

Incidentally, Ronde, the complete Smith works can be found at the Sydney Smith Archive (easily findable via Google), as I remembered a few minutes after making my original post.
