Beginner Piano

Hi everyone,
I'm beginning piano and am wondering if there are any good pieces or collections of music that will help me learn intervals (as in finger positions for them and changing of hand positions etc) well or should i just get my hands on whatever i can and play?

I'm finding at the moment that that i'm pausing every now and then to think about the spacing of the fingers when i see some intervals. Will time and practice fix this?

I never took any formal piano lessons, but that won't stop me from learning from some really good pianists.
Churches often use excellent pianists.
After attending services at the church of your choice, ask the pianist questions.
Be warned...Some will  be wise to your tactics of trying to get free lessons, so have your questions ready and be a nice as possible.

The best to you, I think, is to download "the groundwork of the Leschetizky Method" by Malwine Bree. It`s free download and there you have all what you need to start playing piano.
