Blüthner grand for sale in London
on: August 06, 2010, 08:11:31 PM
A friend has just told me he's selling his 1925 Blüthner grand, 5'8" (173cm) long. He told me because a few years ago I told him I wanted first refusal if he ever decided to sell it - since then I've got a Bechstein. But the Blüthner's really lovely, a slightly soft-toned piano that's a joy to play. It's in good condition inside and out (had quite some serious work done on it in 1985, apparently). He's selling it because he's also got a new (3 years ago) Steinway B and I guess he's getting tired of walking round pianos all the time! It's in central London. I believe he's looking for about £4,000 for it. PM me if interested and I'll put you in touch.
