Ice or pain relief rub for sore hands?
on: August 16, 2010, 03:39:36 AM
Hi,
I am 49 years old, played guitar for 30 years and now have been learning the piano for 4 years.
My right hand has been feeling sore and kind of stiff after playing many hours per day.
Can some people give advice for basic care of this type of pain?
Should I stick with ice packs or are some of those pain relieving rubs better than others?
Tiger balm, Icy hot, Blue Emo etc?
Thanks
PS.. i didn't want to hijack the other "pain in fingers" post. Not sure if these are the same type of pain.
I think mine is just age & heavy usage.
Also, I get this after playing.. not during.. at night mostly.
