Kawai upright piano 503QA, is it comparable to yamaha

Hello, I am thinking about buying a piano for my two kids to practice. The piano I am looking at is Kawai upright piano 503QA, asking price at $2000. It's about 13 years old. The height is 41. I don't know how to play. It seems in good condition. Is this a good deal? Is this a console piano? How is it compared with Yamaha PS22, U1, U3, etc? Thanks!
