I Know this migth seem to be a silly question. but i'm learning to write sheet music and i wonder how long the circle point is. All help is much appreciated.

Can you explain in more detail what you mean by circle point?
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

it looks like an "O" i think it's the longest note but i'm not sure.

A whole note is normally a whole measure (e.g. 4 beats in 4/4 time).  There's also a double whole note, but I've never seen it in music.  You'd probably only see it if you had 8/4 time or something like that I guess.

Think of a whole note as a 1/1.  It is twice as long as a half note (1/2). 

1 whole note =
2 half notes =
4 quarter notes =
8 eighth notes =
16 sixteenth notes


A double whole note or breve is worth two whole notes.  It was more common to use the breve in early music.  Today it can be found in pieces written in 4/2.
