The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. MTNA certification exam
on: July 22, 2004, 05:00:27 PM
I am trying to get the MTNA certification by next year. I need to present a minimum 45 minutes repertoire, though, in order to get that. Here is what I plan to play :

Bach French Suite #6
Mozart Sonata in B-flat, K333
Liszt Ballade #2
A couple of Scriabin Preludes
Debussy Arabesque #1
A couple of Poulenc Improvisations

Doest this repertoire seem suitable to you ? Has any of you taken that certification exam ? Would you recommand me to play easy pieces with no wrong notes rather than more difficult ones if I play some wrong notes (having little time to practice, my technique is not all that great).
