The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Taubman Tapess !!!!! please
on: September 11, 2010, 06:43:49 PM
Hi,

I am a 16 year and I really think I could benefit a lot of the Taubman tapes.
I home school and play the piano many hours a day.

Is there someone PLEASE who can lend me the video's or DVD's PLEASE?
I am in desperate need of them, I do not want to download them illegal on a website.

I really don't think posting the same request four times is going to assist you.

Check out these vids: https://www.youtube.com/isstip.  Taubman invented nothing.  If you go to www.archive.org you can download books by the originators - William Townsend and Tobias Matthay.  There's also Ludwig Deppe and Breithaupt.  Interesting how you've swamped PW and PS with requests - Taubman is good, but the claims by Golansky are a bit suspect.
