Casio's CDP-200R
on: September 14, 2010, 08:40:53 AM
Does anyone else own this digital piano? I wanted to know what you guys think of this and if it's good, because I am planning to buy this particular model. Here is a site for more info: https://www.casio-intl.com/emi/piano/cdp200r.html

If it is alright with everyone to kindly tell me their opinions concerning this model, because I really need a second opinion, this is my first time buying a digital piano and I would like to buy a possibly average or above average model. Thank you everyone. :)

Oh, and by the way, the pedals on digital pianos, can you buy those? Because this model includes one pedal, and I wanted to know if I could possibly plug-in 3 pedals on this in the future if ever I buy it. Again, thank you to everyone who will give their time to answer and help with my problem. :)

I generally do not like Casio keyboards. They are good for a band but for piano solo music it just doesn't sit right with me, feeble sound range, feels funny on fingers etc etc. That it doesn't have dedicated pedals highlights its use in a band rather than solo piano work.

Thank you for your opinion, I think I know what you mean about Casio keyboards. But this is probably the best digital piano I can afford right now, and it's pretty difficult to find good stores that sell digital pianos/pianos here in my country. Thank you again, I did by the PX-410r instead of the CDP200r, it's a little better I guess. :P
