Hello all! Liszt wrote 2 different piano transcriptions of Schubert's Die Forelle (The Trout). I have the sheet music to both of them but from doing internet and YouTube searches I see that the 1st version seems to be more commonly performed.
Has anyone here performed the 2nd version or know why it's not as common? Is it just not as technically challenging and/or as well-written as the 1st?
Just wondering what your experiences and opinions were. I'll probably just learn both for the heck of it.
