Monday, July 26, 2004:
Between 18:07 and 20:00 (French time) today, Russian pianists
Valentina Igoshina, Nikolai Lugansky and Alexei Nabioulin
will be featured guests on 'Sur tous les tons', a France
Musiques programme. The guests on this programme usually
play 10-20 minutes of music as well as conversing with the
presenters.

Background information:
All three pianists studied at the Moscow Conservatory.
Valentina Igoshina is a laureate of the 1993 Artur
Rubinstein Memorial Competition in Poland, the 1997
International Rachmaninov Competition in Moscow, and
the 2002 Atlanta International Piano Competition. Her
teachers include Larissa Dedova and Sergei Dorensky.
Nikolai Lugansky is a laureate of the 1988 All-Union
Competition in Tbilisi, the 1988 International Bach
Competition in Leipzig, the 1990 Rachmaninov Competition
in Moscow, and the 1994 International Tchaikovsky Competition
in Moscow. He also received the Terence Judd Award in 1995.
His teachers include Tatiana Kestner, Tatiana Nikolaeva and
Sergei Dorensky.
Alexei Nabioulin is a laureate of the 1998 Alessandro
Casagrande Competition in Terni, the 2000 AXA Dublin
International Piano Competition, and the 2002 International
Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. His teachers include
Mikhail Voskressensky and Natalia Trull.

oh BOO to time differences once again i'm gonna be asleep! and it'd be a good reason to stay awake but of all times i have freakin uni tomorrow at 9am and thus need my sleep. hope it's good:)
