on: November 01, 2010, 12:29:59 PM
Hi Guy can anybody help me choose between this too DPs??? I can't seem to be able to find the difrences betwen them to decide wich one is better
Here are the links to the specs on both of them...
https://www.kawai.de/ca18_en.htm
https://www.kawai.de/cn33_en.htm
So far i have only heard ( in person) the cn 31 wich is like an older version of the 33 and it sounded awsome.. still I would like to hear some words about the ca 18 ..

Well just taken the ca18 out of consideration.. and insted I now have to decide between
CASIO ap 420 and the kawai cn 33...
So from what i can see on the specs the choice is basicly 128-note polyphony vs 96 -note polyphony... so can anybody tell me if 96 polyphony if enouth for classical music
(if so I will buy the kawai cause it seems to be of better quality ) if not I will go for the casio wich has more polyphony..

Most important thing to me is how the keys feel to the fingers. You have to play on both of them to see which one works the best for you.
And afcourse the sound matters. But the sound is really a matter of taste. So again you have to play on both of then, and chose the best.
When i bought my DP, i went to several music stores and tried many pianos myself.
Chosing a piano by looking at the written information is not a good idea.
PS: Roland FP7 is a really great piano for 1500 euro. I loved that one, but i had only 1000 euro, so i took Roland FP4.
If you want, go find it in the store and try it, the sound of Roland FP7 is AMAZING!!
