What albums should I look for on PianoDisc?
on: November 11, 2010, 07:37:36 PM
I just had PianoDisc installed on my uncle's piano at
Rockaway Music
in Morris Plains. They did a good job and the piano still plays just like it used to. I am new to the whole PianoDisc thing and I was wondering which albums will really blow him out of the water? I know he likes classical, and maybe some semi-contemporary stuff.

Any of the "live-orchaestrated" albums will be far superior to the "Symphony" albums (Symphony albums utilized instruments off a sound card). Many of the more recent albums in my opinion have better expression levels, including the "Artist Series" disks. It really depends on what specifically your uncle likes. They probably installed the new HD SlientDrive system as well... much better reproduction and accuracy. He's going to love the piano!
