Hi guys, I'm new to these forums and I'm hoping to find some good advice for polyrhythms. For some reason I just can't get my head round them. I'm quite a high standard of playing, but I have alllways stuck to the same things and have had fractured teaching. I've currently finished the Tausig transcription of Marche Militaire, it was pretty tough but I'm fine with the techniques involved in playing it. I've also done Chopin's Military and Heroic polonaises and given concerts in them. Any advice in learning polyryhthms? At the moment it feels like I just can't do them.
