Do I belong here?
on: December 26, 2010, 04:39:14 AM
I've gradually morphed into a clavichord player, and my interests in repertoire/styles are becoming increasingly constrained (I'm down to three B's: Baroque, Boogie and the Blues). The digital piano, which I had made dozens of recordings on, is becoming my "midi composing device" rather than an outlet for purely musical creativity. Do I still belong on a piano forum?

Yes, I think your music would have to stray a lot further than that to provide grounds for excluding yourself.

Alright then, stay I shall  :)  I was concerned about spamming the improv forum with clavichord recordings, primarily. While mildly interesting to some, few will probably enjoy those as much as new piano recordings.

That is true. For a long time my only contributions here have been to attack advertisers.

At the moment, my banjo gives me more pleasure than piano ;D
