I'm building a stand for my son's 88 key Casio PX-100, which includes only a sustain pedal, and want to mimic an actual 88 key Grand as best I can.
I have the top of the white keys at 28" off the floor and the pedal is designed to rest on the floor so the 1 1/4" height isn't an issue.
But for the sustain pedal:
1. For centering: I understand that on an actual Grand the sustain pedal is aligned to a specific key but where is that key exactly in relation to the center of all it's 88 keys? Meaning to say how far to the right of the key's center (between keys 44 & 45) is it? My 88 keys are exactly 48" from end-to-end, is it the same on a Grand?
2. For depth: what is the distance from the outer tip of the white keys to the same tip of the pedal?
Thanks a bunch
