hello ppl,

im going to study 6thgrade at "Conservatorio Nacional de Lisboa, portugal", and i'm searching about piano sonatas... i would leran something different... 2years ago I studied Mozart, last year Beethoven, this year Schubert (D664,opus120, really nice!),  ;Dand the next year(6th) i would really play a sonata from a "different" composer, but i don't now who choose... And I don't know what sonata is ideal to my grade... I didnt talk to my teacher yet..

What's your opinion?  You know other cool composers with sonatas for my grade?  ::)

i always thought that chopin's 3rd sonata was great, but i have no idea of the level you may have...

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. (Hunter Thompson)

Haha, Sorabji... If you're pretty good, try Prokofiev's Seventh, it's an awesome Sonata.
