"Piano Bridges"- Saint-Petersburg 1-st International Piano Amateur Competition

1-st International competition for amateur pianists will be held in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, from 5 to 9 July 2011 at the Concert Hall of the Unit of Composers of Saint-Petersburg.We are glad to invite all amateur pianists  aged 17 and above from all countries for whom piano playing is a favorite hobby, but not a professional activity.  At least 3 years should pass since graduation from a music college, if any.  Professional pianists as well as teachers and students of music colleges and conservatories are not allowed to take part in the Competition. The program is free for choice of candidates. The Competition consists of 2 rounds. Applications are accepted till 15th of May, 2011
