A rare fact about Chopin - He was a painter too!!!

Hello all good people, i just wanted to let you know a really cool and almost unknown fact to those who don't read to much about Chopin. Chopin was actually a very capable sketch artist and scene sketcher.  Please check out my post in my blog about it!! and see some samples sketches there as well. i hope it can shed a little more light on this mysterious musical genius. :)

Chopin did cartoons and illustrations, too. His pen and ink drawings of cats playing on music manuscript were very popular when I was a child.

yeah I know :P he painted caricatures and we can read about this fact in his many letters.

Really don't have any idea about this,most people know him just as 'the poet of the piano'.But this is nice to know about his sketching art.Does anyone here has sketches made by Chopin. Eager to see his sketches and caricatures.

So Chopin was a true artist-both musician and painter.
