Yamaha DGX630 and USB stick problem.
on: February 08, 2011, 03:59:37 AM
Hello to all and hopefully someone can help me with this issue. I have a Yamaha DGX 630 and when i insert and format a USB stick in the keyboard my PC (running Windows XP) will not then recognise the stick and asks me to format it on the PC. If i do this then the keyboard doesn't recognise the USB stick. All i want to do is transfer some midi files onto my keyboard and the USB stick would have been the easiest option....Help!!

Don't use a memory stick. Hard wire your keyboard to your computer via usb ports and download the usb driver for the keyboard. A driver also came with your keyboard on a setup disk....
