GHS vs GH vs GH3
on: February 21, 2011, 06:08:40 PM
Ive tried all 3, their are some different feels ya but all in all, even the standard feels fine to me.
However all I ever see when it comes to dp action is that when buying a digital at least get GH and that standard is crap and you cannot advance on it after a certain lv.
However when choosing a piano, instead of a piano that costs a bit with something like GH or more often GH3, something like a p95 is recommended with standard action.
So basically, wth is the difference? I mean I thought the farther you went up the better the action was but maybe im missn something that people who own these things got. Anyone played and jammed on both could tell me the difference?

Toner,
I don't know what your expense limits are but if your shopping for a digital piano I highly recommend a Yamaha CP5 or for less cash a P95. I've played those others you mentioned but I was really amazed by the CP5. Both the CP5 and P95 have wooden keys, great action and sound.
Do yourself a favor and try these out before you make your purchase...
Musically, Jimbo

I tried the 95, it was nice but I ended up going for the kawai 63. Something about those keys just felt nice. Granted I thought the yamaha 340 had a lil better sound, but the 63 was still good and it's nice to play.

The GH3 has a third sensor, which allows for faster repetition than the GH keyboard. Otherwise, the feel is the same on these two.
The GHS is an inferior, mush keyboard. Don't even consider them. (But recommend one to someone you hate.)
