Hi,
After a lot of research I decided to get a Kawai MP10 for my other, "silent piano". Everything I read was positive, it has the latest third generation action, wooden keys, etc, etc. Since the closest dealer is an hour away, and they never seem to have them in stock, I took a chance and bought it online without trying one out first - there is a 30 day full credit return policy.
So, it arrives, and when I plug it in nothing happens - it is a bad unit. I can get my money back, or can get it replaced. After 30 days, I can only get it "repaired", I cannot return it. Since this is a new model, my concern is that if the unit goes bad after 30 days, I will spend quite some time nursing it back to health. The keys feel decent - nothing like my real piano, but a lot better than my Yamaha P-85.
Anyone else have reliability problems with their MP10 ?
How well does Kawai back up their products ?
Any info would be much appreciated,
Andy
