Simple meditations.
on: March 01, 2011, 07:17:15 AM
I found these from September 10th 2010. I had no memory of them, so it was a surprise. I can tell it's that Yamaha upright I like to visit, for I love its endless sustaining resonance. The pieces are beautiful to me, despite there not being much too them (flower pedals?)...maybe it's because I did not remember and so really did not know what was coming next? They were separate files, but recorded in succession. I post them in reverse order.

Dedicated to Littletune.  :)

You are never alone, you can still have a dialogue with a little plane ;D
Time, resonance, space :) (wasn't that one of your titles?)

I missed these comments. I love the piano in this room, but this room is right by the road. Generally I have no problem with extraneous noises...I guess it marks it down in history. There is a satisfaction at this sort of time alone, and both these pieces, though they are short, and though there may not be much in terms of events...both of these little pieces are very special and very beautiful to me. As with the other group formed at this piano, the two pieces in their order form am inseparable unit, and I cannot listen to the one without expecting the other.
