2011 March 09, Two Preludes.

The second of these two I call "A Beam of Sunlight in the Forest." I imagine walking through an extremely dense portion of the forest and then coming upon a beautiful ray of sunlight. Cheesy romantic crap, I know, but that's me.

I love "cheesy romantic crap"   8)

It's a bit the world of Schubert and Schumann (I dont mean you copy them, but the mood or world they lived in with their musical ideas)

I don't think that romanticism is gone and only a thing of the past. Your playing, for instance, proves that it is still alive :)

This is really beautiful!  :)  8) And I love the name and what you say you imagine! :) Didn't you once say that you didn't see things while listening to music  :-\ or was that someone else? Oh well... doesn't matter I guess  :P This is really nice and peaceful and hopeful and like getting carried away by that ray of sunlight  8)

thanks pianowolfi and littletune  :)   littletune, yes you remember correctly. I've never been very creative with imagery in music. The last time I remember doing it, I played something that reminded me of my cat back in '07 or so. Here it is  I notice I said only the beginning part sounded like the cat. Well, upon listening again, in the second part he's in a fight with our other cat and chasing him around.
