our names
on: August 10, 2004, 12:14:23 AM
does anybody remember who the first was to form a name out of several composers?  What I mean, my name is a combination of Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and Chopin.  There are a number of other users who combine their favorite composers in such a way-does anybody remember who started it?

I remember a few members with combo names...

Bachopoven, Chopiabin, Rachlisztchopin, Bachaninov are the only ones I can remember... And you of course!

I have no clue who started this though...

I saw a discussion in another Forum about  Chopinfiles, and this Forum. There was a consensus that the predilection for combining composers' names - a la Prokrachchopbach, etc. - was one of the more lame attributes.
Not necessarily my opinion.

Prokrachchopbach,

Haha, that's superfluously awesome.  10 point combo there.

Try to say the alphebet in one word - abcdefghijklmnopqustuvwxyz.  I used to be able to say it, now it just hurts my tongue. :P

what if my name were created from doing glissandos on the keyboard: qwertyuiopasdfghjkl;zxcvbnm,.

My name is donjuan because of Liszt's Reminiscences de Donjuan.

It's more than made up for when they start playing scrabble though.

How about Schumaydnachthovenopinahms

Schum-aydn-ach-thoven-opin-ahms

;D ;D Love that name, it's real fun to say aloud: Shoo-my-dun-arc-toe-vun-up-in-arms ;D

My name is quite simple: I am the Henrah. It would be Henrah the Magix, for sometimes I be magix, but that is too long to type in every time I want to login, so plain and simple Henrah it be. For years now I have been trying to remember the origins of my name, but I have only come to the conclusion that me and my friends were quite stoned and it came from me saying 'hubjaba' and other such variations a lot.
Henrah

Did you know?: Biffy Clyro (progressive rock band, one of the best bands in the world) got there name from trying to say clippy byro when stoned :D
