My poor Lina had all the illnesses of the world, from pneumonia (due to a parasite) to a severe, incurable kidney disease; weeks of intravenous drips were useless. She suffered too much, so it was an act of pity to decide for a  letal jab. But I'll never, never  forget her eys         ....

I'm so very sorry to hear about Lina, Marg. I know exactly how you feel. My thoughts are with you during this time of grief.

My favorite pet, of course, is my little Keno, yorkiepoo!  But I had a rabbit as a kid and one of my friends fed it an aspirin, which made me very mad.  The rabbit was peeing orange;  I'll never forget it.  It got better and we took it down to the peninsula on Lake Erie and it hopped away in happiness and my heart was sad but happy!
I think my dad was glad to see it go!

I don't have any pets these days -I haven't got over losing my parrot -

I still support Hillside Animal Sanctuary though

And I'm sorry about your parrot!  I'm sure he (or she) is your angel now!!

Well about my pets... my guinea pig is doing better now, we only have to give her one medication and she is eating a lot better now and it's healing really well and probably on Wednesday they will take out the things that are holding the wound together, she doesn't have stitches, she has something else, don't know how it's called... but the vet said it was cancer, I mean he said the tumor was fibrosarcoma but he doesn't know how it acts in guinea pigs, he said that he had one guinea pig with liposarcoma and it was repeating all the time, but he doesn't know about this one... he'll tell us more on Wednesday.
Oh and he (I mean my guinea pig's doctor is really cute!!        ).
And also my doggie had her birthday on March 21!!! but we didn't have time to celebrate yet!  but we will of course! Happy birthday!!!    and also it has been 6 months since my doggie had surgery on March 14!!! and exactly that day it was also anniversary since we got my bird (the little one, we rescued her)...
I have to post some pictures of my pets but I don't have any time now    ... but I will

One of these days I hope to get a photo of my cat climbing onto our piano.  It's a good thing the piano has a slow and gentle soft close lid. Otherwise, I'd have no fingers left for all the times the  lid came down on my hands!! When I was choosing a piano, I asked myself why anyone would pay more for such a lid.  Now I know why!!

I remember this one. People were arguing that it's fake and that the author timed the music to just fit the video of the dog.

Why I remember this is because the argument against those claiming it was fake was so simple and solid. Many pointed out... look at the reflection on the can. End of case. lol

I really love my temporary little guests! I love to look into their black little eyes, and sometimes I feel like they are looking at me too, and watching me! I love to hear them eat their salad, sometimes its hearable even from far away I hope they are okay, but I think as long as they eat and drink they are okay. I am a bit concerned, but well, it's the first day and I don't really have any experience, I know what to feed them and I know that they need a warm place, and sun, if possible, and all that, but well, I'm still a bit concerned.

i think they might miss you when they leave. animals do that. these big kittens for example, give their guy a big hug goodbye, really sweet, almost tear jerker.

well that Henri cat is pretty depressing!  I would kiss him and hug him and tickle him till he would get happier!!!      and also I wouldn't let him kill spiders!!! no wonder he is unlucky, killing spiders is bad luck!!! (well killing in general!)

They're back with their family now
During the first two days after they had gone I missed them big time 
But I can't have any pets, I don't have time enough, and it wouldn't be responsible. Those little tortoises would actually need a big place in a yard. And they have a very long lifespan, Rose and Luna will in all probability survive me by far, they are still very young!
