Fantasy in F# minor, Op.28
on: March 30, 2011, 12:21:34 PM
Hey, I'm planning to take the LTCL Recital. I was wondering if Mendelssohn's Fantasy in F# Minor, Op.28 is considered a classical or romantic piece. Coz Mendelssohn is from the romantic period and this piece sounds a lil classical though it has a huge range of expressions and pedals. Can anyone help me out here? Here's the link if you don't know how it sounds like.

Thanks. :)

I think Mendelssohn, especially this piece, is safely in the Romantic repertoire.
