Liszt Piano Trio in D-flat major
on: May 04, 2011, 12:42:58 AM
It is said that in 1825, Ferenc Liszt composed a Trio in D-flat major for Violin, Cello, and Piano.  :o It's Searle's catalogue number is S.717.

I heard that the at an auction in Paris in November 6, 1997, the cello part was sold, and the piano part was sold in July 1998 somewhere else. The violin part supposedly exists, but I have no idea where it is.

Does anyone know anymore about this Trio? Maybe about it's whereabouts today, or if it was ever published and/or recorded?
Currently working on:
*Prelude, Op.23 N.4 (Rachmaninoff)
*Prelude & Fugue in F major, WTC II (Bach)
...not fully decided on what else to start (most likely will be a Liszt, Schubert, or Medtner)...
