Best Beethoven Biography?
on: May 04, 2011, 09:23:41 PM
Hey guys...

I've decided it might help a bit if I read a bit about some of the composers that are my favorites to get a good understanding of them as well as their music. I'd like to start with Beethoven.

Anyone have any recommendations for the best Beethoven biography? Anyone read any and can review?

Thanks!

Maynard Solyom wrote a really good one. I haven't read it from beginning to end yet (or even started seriously) but many critics (ny times etc.) gave it some really good reviews.
