Yes, I've gone apostate and as part of getting basics of fingerstyle guitar, I've become obsessed with the Mark Knopfler tune "Money For Nothing."
I play it unplugged on the hollow-body archtop using fingers only, and I find it challenging enough.
However, here's one of the only recordings I've seen/heard that performs on acoustic (flat-top) guitar, which also gives some instruction on how to mute or "block" strings.
Actually, I work in logistics at a warehouse, so the tune always has a nice little bit of lyric resonance. But the main hook/riff of the tune is one of the killer guitar parts in rock music.
