Ravel-Gould La Valse score
on: August 16, 2004, 08:00:38 PM
Anybody has the score to this?
Would be most grateful if you could email it to me (xyrnamATsprayDOTse).
It so darn hard to find it.
Thanx for help

There is no transcription. It's just La Valse, except all the optional snippets you find in the Durand edition are all added in, which make for a humongous firework of a piece.
Oh, and I like your taste. La Valse is my favorite piece of music ever composed.

Yes, it is just the Durand edition. I learned this piece two years ago -- talk about a real ball-buster to play. Good lord!!!! I thought scarbo was hard. This thing is a pregnant dog -- and the Gould additions at the end are insane, but very cool. I've seen this performed several times -- amazing in concert, this piece is.

Hi folks
Does anyone have a mp3 of Goulds Ravel Performencev-
Or maybe a 2-3 minutes sample?
No transcription - yes there is one!
Ravel-Icharev!!!
And this one is much more demanding than the Durand Edition
(which I very much asume, it's Ravel's onw transcription)
I'm looking for a long time for any Ravel/Icharev transcription recording,
anyone any idea ...
