on: May 19, 2011, 08:59:23 PM
Welcome everyone
I am a pianist and I have a great desire to learn fast music for competition. I want you to advise me to the level of large pieces fast and are fairly short duration.
I want to play : Chopin - Ballade no.1 but the time is long and I have very short time for learn
just thinking of Rachmaninoff-Rimsky-Korsakoff (FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLE BEE)
Tell me more and more please
and i will chose
greetings

Do you say you want to learn Rachmaninoff? If so, why not a prelude? They are not as long as a ten minute ballade. My favorites are Op. 23 No. 2 and No. 3.
If your are looking for even more a fast piece, you could always try an etude, maybe Chopin, like Op. 10 No. 4.
Sorry, that's all I have as it is 11:28. Yeah, not really a good excuse.
Good luck with the competition.
