I have a soft spot for the Warsaw Concerto. It seems sometimes to suffer under a "film music" banner, but I think it is a wonderful dramatic piece.

As to the difficulty, I cannot play either.

A better "film music concerto" is the Concerto Macabre by Bernard Herrmann. The Warsaw Concerto is a bit to schmaltzy for me, and the piano writing is far too derivative for my tastes. I have a soft spot for it too, but I personally would never consider learning it. The Concerto Macabre has a quirkier, witty sound to it, even though it still has some romantically-influenced gestures. It just has a "smarter" sound to it, if you know what I mean.

He probably means to play because listening is not that hard; you just need patience.
Funny? How? How am I funny?
