Ok I just went through a series of different threads and if I'm correct, comme_le_vent was banned....then was allowed back on to the forum, then got banned again.

Is this correct?

I realize alot of the dates on the threads I was reading were from May so sorry for brining up old news but...

And is he using the same username? ie comme_le_vent or something else?

For some reason I like this forum better than chopin files', perhaps its more encompassing rather than just Chopin, but that's my impression

Yes.

He got banned there also.

He was sort of respected in the same way as here,  but one night,  he went on a crazy posting spree,  and some members were pressuring the moderators to ban him, so they did.

The mods at CF were planning on banning him for a long time before he actually was, but the admin of the board was the only one who could ban, and was on some kind of holiday thing - but he came back, banned him, and now we have several admins as well.

Is Comme_le_vent some really famous person?  Or is he someone that's really gifted with piano?

He's not famous.  However, he tells me he plays lots of improvisations (he's rather good at them, I've heard an audio file of one), and that is primarily what he's working on now.  His repertoire, to my knowledge, is Chopin's op. 25 #12.

I would say he would be a normal person who seeks attention and become infamous, but I really dont know- He may be Vladimir Ashkenazy!

You were?  I was sure he said it- It was in that thread Nils started and deleted.  You know, I think it was the best thread this forum ever had.
