I'm happy to find that my media player is working again and got a big kick out of hearing these pieces.  I do them myself.  On the prelude, I prefer a little more legato for the eighth notes, when they are the first, second, or third, or sometimes the sixth, seventh, or eighth notes of the measure for a voice.  In the fugue, I prefer staccato only for the eighth notes when they are in a group of three in a measure.  Also in the fugue, I know it makes things more difficult, but I do more trills.   At measure 28, I like to do a full-blown trill on the E in the highest voice.  At measure 41, I think it would be justifiable to do a trill on the C-sharp in the highest voice, because the structure of its part is parallel to that in the bass in measure 7.  Similarly for the F-sharp in the middle voice at measure 53.  And though it isn't explicitly in the music, I don't think Bach would have minded if you trilled in the bass at measure 63;  it adds to the harmonic climax that is being reached at that point, and Bach did leave such ornamentation to the discretion of the musician.
