Burgmuller?

I need to play a romantic piece for a performance exam soon - I'm a tad confused as to whether Burgmuller is a romantic composer? PLease help; would be greatly appreciated  :)

Burgmüller isn't a romantic composer , as i know. He's better known for he's set of easy pieces for beginners.
The most famous Romantic Composer is Schubert i would guess.

Well, he lived during the 1800, so he lived during the romanic era. He also wrote in a quite romantic way.
That he wrote pieces for children has nothing to do with that...

And you can't really say that Schubert is the most famous one. He isn't even considered romantic by everyone.

Well, that a composer is romantic or not is really not an opinion... And who the most famous is is not really an opinion either. It's like saying "Bach is more famous than Mozart".

Well said , then my sources didn't reach out then.
But, the music don't give me the romantic feeling that Schubert does.
Some of my favorite Composer's are Mendelssohn , Beethoven and Chopin.
