Beginner songs
on: August 27, 2011, 12:47:31 AM
Im about to buy a digital keyboard ( 88 keys )
Was wondering if there was any well known songs ( like apologize and blablabla ) that are easy to learn , just to get something to start with.. ( Like popular/modern songs )
Thanks !

Can you read sheet music and do you know basic major and minor chords? If this is your first time playing keyboard, I would get familiar with the keys and chords and practice easy pieces such as jingle bells or mary had a little lamb. While learning pieces, you should also practice reading sheet music and learn some theory.
Once you have learned all the scales and chords and can read pretty good, The next piece you learn would probably depend on what style of music you like. Do you want to learn classical piano music, jazz music, rag music, rock music, or pop or something else. Everyone has differnet tastes in music. Do want to eventually be able to play really hard pieces or just be able to play something and sound good?
