Backache after playing for a while?
on: August 31, 2011, 03:55:13 AM
Hello,
Ever since I started playing the piano (7 years ago) I always end up with a terrible backache. It goes away like in 10 minutes but when I play again it hurts again.
I play a vertical piano and my stool is well adjusted.

Where's the pain? My guess is you're not recruiting the correct muscles.

How do you sit down when you play?, did you get used to sit down straight?
