Nelson Goerner at Wigmore Hall, London, 27 Sept
on: September 08, 2011, 07:13:29 PM
Blatant plug for a good friend: Nelson Goerner is performing an all-Liszt programme at the Wigmore Hall, London, on Tuesday 27th of this month. Still quite a few tickets left, though every time he performs there the hall has slightly less empty seats than before - in fact the last one was practically sold out, as I recall. So book now!
[Disclaimer - he may be a friend but he didn't put me up to writing this. Indeed I bought my ticket for cash over the counter this very morning.]

Richard,
I know you'll enjoy it immensely. I hear Wigmore Hall has great acoustics.
Good luck to your friend...

Bengt Forsberg, Wigmore Hall
Reply #2 on: October 31, 2011, 11:38:07 AM
Have you heard of Bengt Forsberg, the reknowed Swedish Pianist famous for his collaborations with international star Anne-Sofie Von Otter. He got wonderful response from the audience at Wigmore Hall for his performance with the Christmas From Sweden concert last year at Wigmore Hall.
On December the 23rd, the concert is back with Bengt at the piano but also with the critically acclaimed vocalist Margareta Bengtson and award winning composer and cellist Mats Lidström. All famous Swedish musicians.
Bengt is not only a well respected pianist, he is also known for his gentle, humble style and personality. So be sure to check out the concert because you will most certainly enjoy this wonderful evening of Seasonal music from Sweden & Britain along with Bengt.
Here are some links about the concert:
