Hi there, My family and I are going to visit California in April 2012 and I was wondering if there will be competitions there? I want to join because I'll be in California for 2 whole months and I want to compete in competitions there, and maybe I'll learn something from it.

I'm just an amateur, age 13 and I'm on my level 7 going up to 8
I'm looking for a competition with a piano solo category separated from the concerto category.
The competition doesn't have to be exactly in California, other competitions may be in surrounding states of California.

THANKS!! =D It means a lot!!

Glendale Piano Competition (no concerto category) is held in April every year. You may need to improve your level because of your age, but you might be fine.

Good luck with your studies!
