Help, FTCL program...?
on: October 13, 2011, 03:06:06 PM
These are the pieces i am going to do for my FTCL next year, i'm 14 currently.

Liszt: Apres une Lecture du Dante, Fantasia Quasi sonata
Debussy: Feux d'artifice
Beethoven: Appassionata sonata

i heard that my program was very contrasting and very good, but i don't know which order should i place them. appassionata and dante sonata has wonderful endings, which should end my program (instead of the usual go-according-to-period style). but, which should i open with? and the debussy seems to be a puny work sandwiched between two monsters... hehe but due to time constrains i cannot do my rach sonata 2 :'(

thanks for any help, appreciated!

May be:
Debussy feux d'arfice
Liszt Apres une Lecturne du Dante,
Fantasia Quasi sonata
Beethoven: Appasionata Sonata

I think the best option is to end with Beethoven.
Funny? How? How am I funny?

ah i do agree ending with beethoven's the best, but beginning with feux d'artifice....? liszt seems to have a more bold opening, but i dont know :O
