So recently i got an old upright piano. I can only play it with the una corda on or else it will get to loud, because i am in a small apartment. My upright is the version that lifts the damper closer to the strings making the keys lighter and easier to push. This is the problem. My fingers have gotten to used to the light touch i need to play at home, and when i go and play actual grands and play them, i have to press hard, and it is not normal to me, thus disrupting my playing. What should i do, and why is this? Are there any practice solution? Please Help! thank you!
