Minimal piano arpeggio
on: November 11, 2011, 07:15:10 PM
Hey

I'm trying to find a new little upbeat piano tune to work on.

At the moment I'm looking for something like this
, or this
.

Short and building would be cool - but really appreciate any ideas. I don't mind if strings get involved at some point!

 Any ideas?

the first one should work!

I'm trying to get into some composing work for an art project, and I'm just looking around for inspiration.

I know it all sounds a bit commercial, but that's the point I suppose...

oh, now the 1st works.

for composing. ... i like ad parnassum, from debussy (childrens corner the 1st)

look at this.

i also like the moonlight as my inspiration. or any scales. moving around, start with normal accords and than go on with reduced. mix them up and change the scales.

have fun!

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
