Suggest a Schumann piece to pair with op. 28, no. 2
on: November 25, 2011, 10:31:07 PM
Okay, I have solved my fingering problem with the Romance, Op. 28, no. 2 (thanks!). I don't think the other Romances in Op. 28 are that interesting. Any ideas on one or two really great short Schumann pieces that would make a nice set with Op. 28 no. 2? Thanks.

Depends if you want contrast or something similar.
Something similar may be the last of the nachtstucke, similar in the sense that it is also a calm piece.
Maybe a novelette, one between 3 and 7? They are quite humorous, and great fun to play.
