Fingerings: Shostakovich's Fugue 10 C#m op 87
on: September 07, 2004, 06:03:00 AM
This is a truly magnificent piece of work. There are no virtuosic demands, but the fugal themes have wide intervals which makes the fingering extremely complex. My edition (DSCH publishers) has no fingering suggestions at all. Nor does the Sikorsky.
Is there a kind soul who could send me a scan or a fax of his or her fingerings? It would save a great deal of time in fruitless experimentation. (Talk of reinventing the wheel!) I would be most grateful.
Best regards,
