Rachmaninoff "too much" quote
on: December 13, 2011, 01:12:43 AM
I remember an engraving on my teacher's wall a while back that said something like..."Too much heart is no good. Too many fingers are no good." and then one more think that is "no good" that I don't remember. The quote was attributed to Rachmaninoff; however, I'm unable to find it online anywhere no matter how hard I look. I was wondering if anyone here recognized the quote and could direct me to its entirety. Thanks!
