Trying to identify piano trio
on: December 18, 2011, 11:42:08 PM
Here's hoping someone can help me solve a mystery. I was handed a copy of part of what appears to be a piano part to a piano trio - specifically, the last 6 pages of a first movement in b-flat major, and the first 5 pages of the second movement in e-flat major and marked "Andante". At the bottom of the pages, Edition Peters is printed, with the number 8669 in the middle; however, a search of the online Edition Peters catalog proved fruitless. I realize that this description is extremely vague, but if the details I've provided ring a bell, please let me know.

Could you post a picture of one or more of the sheets? That would make it easier to answer your question.
